Eli was born in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. He was naturally drawn to music, because his father, Dan, is a record producer. (Manchester Orchestra, Paris Jackson, Teddy Swims, Ed Sheeran, Aaron Shust) Eli was exposed to the recording studio from a very young age and was encouraged to listen to the great R&B artists and soul singers of the 20th Century. Performers like Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson, James Brown, The Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, and The Temptations were his earliest influences.
Eli always had a song on his lips and would walk around singing even before he could talk, so by the age of ten, he caught his father’s ear while he was in his bedroom singing, “Who’s Lovin’ You”, by The Jackson Five. “One day I heard what I thought was the radio…but it was Eli”, says his dad. “I asked him to come down to the studio and right away I put him in the vocal booth. His performance was so real and fun! From then on, I understood that Eli was a one of a kind talent - an artist to be taken seriously.”
Now nine years later, Eli’s skills as a multi-instrumentalist and singer have blossomed into a rare and magical blend of authenticity and accessibility. When you hear Eli you simply want to hear more and more. He has been performing gigs in all kinds of venues; from coffee shops to bars, to arenas, and even the Apollo Theater.
At only nineteen years old, Eli’s future is limitless. He is currently in the studio working on songs for his debut album and performing regularly all around the Southeast.
